Nonnie first published this family heirloom cookbook in 2010 as a surprise gift to her children and grandchildren. She poured her love into the project as she spent endless hours collecting recipes, editing, and getting the cookbook set up to be printed.
This is the third printing of her cookbook and we are all so proud of Nonnie for taking on such a huge project once again. Sprinkled throughout are some basic recipes from her father. He kept a notebook with simple instructions for making some of his favorite country cooking when my Grandmother was working outside the home sometime after his retirement. His instructions are easy to follow and would be helpful for those who are just beginning to cook.
